  President Muhammadu Buhari has terminated the appointment of the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Sanusi Ado Bayero, in what appears a reversal of his predecessor’s action. The termination of Mr. Bayero’s appointment is with immediate effect, a statement by Femi Adesina, the special adviser on media and publicity to the President, said.

Good news guys! Central Bank of Nigeria has extended the deadline for the Bank Verification Number, BVN, registration to October 31st. The Apex bank had earlier fixed today June 30th as the deadline for the registration.  Hopefully more Nigerians would have completed their registration before the new deadline elapses

Governors of the All Progressives Congress, APC, have called an emergency meeting to seek ways of reuniting the ruling party that is threatened by a major crisis over the choice of new leaders for the Senate and the House of Representatives. we confirmed at the national secretariat of the APC that the meeting was called by the chairman of the APC governors’ Forum and Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha.
