Eto's poses like an old man to make fun of age falsification story

After scoring a goal  against Spurs  at yesterday's match, Chelsea footballer Samuel Eto'o celebrated the goal by posing as an old man, (pictured above) making fun of recent  reports  that he's closer to 40 than the 32 he's claiming. He also showed that he bears no hard feelings to his coach Jose Mourinho who was caught on camera saying he believes the Cameroonian striker is 35 and not 32. "I didn’t suggest the celebration but I knew about it. We thought it was good because the best way to defuse the situation is to make fun of it." Jose Mourinho said of the pose Whether 32, 35, or 39, Samuel Eto's has consistently shown he's still a force to be reckoned with. He will celebrate his 40th birthday...oh sorry...his 33rd birthday tomorrow March 10th.

President Jonathan’s N9bn jet develops technical problem in Minna

President Jonathan and some top government officials yesterday Saturday March 8th escaped an air mishap at the Minna Airport, Niger State, when a presidential jet developed a technical fault, while they were aboard,  Punch  reports. Find full report below...  The presidential jet, Nigerian Air Force 001 (5N-FGT), had earlier conveyed Jonathan to Minna for the -Peoples Democratic Party’s North-Central rally which held at the Trade Fair Centre, Minna. At the end of the rally, the President returned to the airport in company with top government officials, PDP state governors and party chiefs for a trip to Sokoto, from where he was scheduled to return to Abuja. However, several minutes after Jonathan had bade farewell to those who accompanied him to the airport, and the door of the aircraft was shut, the aircraft failed to move. After many attempts, crew members and engineers disembarked from the aircraft and made spirited efforts to fix the fault as armed sec...

Chief of Army Staff relocates to troubled North East

The Chief of Army staff,  Lt. Gen, Kenneth Minimah has relocated to the warring North East zone of Nigeria where the Boko Haram insurgence has been on the increase in recent times. The Army Chief is said to have relocated there following the Feb. 26th directive by the National Assembly members for him to be present at the insurgent zone so he can personally monitor the situation there and give proper direction to the fight against the terror group.  The Chairman, Senate Committee on Defence and the Army, George Sekibo has confirmed the Army Chief's relocation.
