Ahmad Salkida, a Nigerian journalist  declared wanted  by the military over  Boko Haram’s latest video , has been arrested, Nigerian media reported on Monday. Sahara Reporters, a Nigerian news website,  reported Monday afternoon  that Mr. Salkida was apprehended by the State Security Service at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Some Nigerian soldiers attached to ‘Operation Crocodile Smile’ in Bayelsa were involved in a boat accident, the Army said late Monday. Sani Usman, spokesman for the Nigerian Army, said the mishap occurred on Monday morning, but rescue efforts were underway to determine casualties.
