"I WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR AMAECHI'S 2007 WOES"- OBASANJO'S

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo has said he should be held responsible for all the travails of Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi before and after the 2007 election. The PDP Chieftain while commissioning some of the projects executed by the Amaechi administration in Eleme Local Government Area said that rather than blame former Governor, Peter Odili, he (Obasanjo) should be held responsible for Amaechi's woes in the 2007 election because according to him, he was fully in charge then. He continued that he would not apologise for the decisions he made, at that time surprisingly denying Governor Amaechi the gubernatorial ticket for PDP in which he had tagged as having k-leg, prior to the build up of the elections, but that at the end the supreme court upheld the elections and declared him winner of the Rivers State 2007 gubernatorial elections.
Meanwhile, the Governor thank President Obasanjo and described him as a good leader and that is why he is pleased to invite him to Rivers state to see what he has achieved for the state in the past seven years.
Ladies and gentlemen, what meaning can you read from this story? Could Governor Amaechi have invited President Obasanjo to commission his projects to rub it in the face of President Jonathan? Is Amaechi sending a message that he's got President Obasanjo's support and therefore President Jonathan can be ignored? Why is Obasanjo confessing for being responsible for Amaechi's woes now? How come Amaechi is rather praising President Obasanjo and calling him a good leader, instead of lashing out on him for being responsible for his travails in 2007? Could this mean that President Obasanjo and Governor Amaechi are in bed together politically? Does this mean or signify that President Obasanjo is secretly supporting the All Progressive Congress ( APC )? Let's talk hard politics.
