NEWS UPDATE: Boko Haram Regional Mastermind Arrested In Niger.

The Nigerian military has reportedly arrested the mastermind of different attacks by Boko Haram in Niger’s Diffa region which is close to the Nigerian border.

According to Niger’s Anfani private radio station, the sect member identified as Kaka Bounou, was a trader based in Diffa and goes by the alias, Captain, within the sect group. He’d been arrested several times in the past and released. Boko Haram carried out their first attack on Niger last week…
